Why choose The Learning Garden?

Our Child Care Philosophy

We want to help your child grow and meet developmental milestones as they move through our program.

While learning is a large part of what we do, we also focus on your individual child and his or her wellbeing. At The Learning Garden, your child is more than just a student to us. They become part of our family.

Our Mission is to enrich the quality of family life by providing peace of mind to parents and enhancing the life experiences of the children in our care. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment so that children look forward to arriving each day.

Our Teachers

Our lead teachers hold degrees in education and design our curriculum to meet the needs of children from infancy through school age.

The Learning Garden family is made up of a diverse group of people aged 20 to 71 with varying educational backgrounds and experience in the field of early childhood. We are a group of women and men of differing ethnic and religious backgrounds as well as former elementary school teachers, high school teachers and a retired childcare center owner. What ties us together is the care.

Each staff member participates in regularly scheduled trainings throughout each year to keep abreast of developments important in education and child care as well as being certified in CPR and First Aid.

Here’s what some of our parents are saying!

All 3 of my children have attended this facility since 4-6months old. The teachers have become family and we could speak more highly of all the staff. The director is wonderful and very attentive to both children and the parents.

Nick G.

I cannot say enough about the staff at the Learning Garden! As a foster parent, I appreciated their attentiveness and their flexibility. Great communication! They gave our little guy the utmost attention, such a great start!

Liz C.

These women are the most wonderful ladies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My kids have been coming here for the past 7 1/2 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. They have become family and I recommend this center to everyone I know!

Jennie P.

Definitely recommend! I looked at a lot of other daycares and The Learning Garden is by far the best! My daughter absolutely loves it there! The staff is wonderful and the amount of things my daughter learned was outstanding.
